A 1973 split-level the owners had just bought. Twelve rooms, sixteen-foot vaulted ceiling in the great room, and trim that hadn't been touched since the Reagan administration. They wanted it neutral but warm, and they wanted to be in it by Thanksgiving.
We started the day after Halloween. Eight working days for the interior, four more for cabinets (sprayed at our shop), and a half-day walk-back the Saturday before the holiday. The family hosted dinner in it the following Thursday.
